Glosario: Impulso de entrenamiento (TRIMP)

Training Impulse, developed by Banister in 1991, is a method to quantify training load based on heart rate and duration of an exercise. The method uses heart rate reserve, which considers Frecuencia cardíaca en reposo as well as Frecuencia cardíaca máxima, and a gender-specific weighting factor.
