Glossary: VAM

VAM (abbreviation for the Italian term velocità ascensionale media) is the average ascent speed in meters per hour.

Runalyze calculates VAM based on all detected climbs of at least 5th category. This means that VAM cannot be determined for activities without classified climbs.
