Connecting Mistral Le Chat to the Runalyze MCP Server

This guide explains how to connect Mistral Le Chat to the Runalyze MCP Server using OAuth 2.1.

Prerequisites

Before you begin:

1. Have a Mistral Vibe (Le Chat) account with access to Connectors.
2. Have an active Runalyze Premium Membership.

Note: The Runalyze MCP Server requires a valid Runalyze Premium account.

Step 1: Open the Connectors Page

Open:

https://chat.mistral.ai/connections

Click:

Add Connector

Then select:

Custom MCP Connector

Step 2: Configure the Connector

Enter the following values:

Name

Runalyze

Connector Server

https://runalyze.com/mcp

Authentication Method

Select:

OAuth 2.1

Client ID

Copy the Client ID from:

https://runalyze.com/settings/mcp

Client Secret

Copy the Client Secret from:

https://runalyze.com/settings/mcp

Step 3: Connect

Click:

Connect

Mistral will initiate the OAuth 2.1 authorization flow and connect to your Runalyze account.

Step 4: Verify the Connection

After the connector has been created:

1. Start a new chat in Mistral Le Chat.
2. Enable the Runalyze connector for the conversation.
3. Ask a Runalyze-related question.

Example Prompts

Show my last 10 running activities.

Summarize my training load for the last 4 weeks.

What was my average resting heart rate this month?

How has my HRV changed over the last 30 days?

Compare my running volume this month to last month.

Troubleshooting

Authentication failed

• Verify that your Runalyze Premium subscription is active.
• Ensure you copied the correct Client ID and Client Secret from:

https://runalyze.com/settings/mcp

• Recreate the connector and try again.

Connector cannot connect

Verify that the MCP server URL is exactly:

https://runalyze.com/mcp

Tools do not appear in chats

• Start a new chat after creating the connector.
• Ensure the Runalyze connector is enabled for the conversation.
• Reconnect the connector if necessary.

Security Notes

The Client ID and Client Secret provide access to your Runalyze account through OAuth 2.1. Keep them private and regenerate them in Runalyze if you believe they have been exposed.
