Glossary: Training Impulse (TRIMP)
Training Impulse, developed by Banister in 1991, is a method to quantify training load based on heart rate and duration of an exercise. The method uses heart rate reserve, which considers Klidová tepová frekvence as well as Maximální tepová frekvence, and a gender-specific weighting factor.
Runalyze will always use the activity's complete heart rate profile, if available, to correctly rate interval workouts.
