Glossary: Impulso de treinamento (TRIMP)

Training Impulse, developed by Banister in 1991, is a method to quantify training load based on heart rate and duration of an exercise. The method uses heart rate reserve, which considers Frequência cardíaca em repouso as well as Freqüência cardíaca máxima, and a gender-specific weighting factor.
