How can I fix the recorded distance data?

If the GPS signal is poor, the recorded GPS distance may differ significantly from the actual distance covered. Especially in urban areas between high houses, in the forest or on mountains, it can lead to problems.

In such a case, if only the total distance is corrected in the activity data, all calculations based on the actual recorded data remain unaffected. This affects, for example, the power calculation, GAP, xPace, xGap, Pa:Hr and also the calculation of the best sub-segments.

Runalyze offers the possibility to correct the distance data in the activity view in the dropdown menu for editing under "Expert editing tools".

You can correct the recorded distance there by entering the actual distance or by using the entered lap times (e.g. when training on the track or when you have stopped according to the kilometer markers in officially measured races).
