How to Import Activities and Health Data into Runalyze
Runalyze offers several ways to import your sports activities and health data. Whether you prefer automatic synchronization, a historical import, or manual uploads — this guide will walk you through all available options.
1. Automatically sync activities (recommended)
The easiest and most convenient way is to connect Runalyze with your device manufacturer or fitness service. Once connected, new activities will be imported automatically.

💡 Tip: Once connected, future synchronization runs in the background — no further action is required.
2. Import historical data
Some providers allow you to import past activities directly into Runalyze. This is especially useful if you are new to Runalyze and want to bring over your complete training history.
- Availability depends on the provider
- Historical imports can be started directly within Runalyze
- Depending on the amount of data, the import may take some time
3. Upload activities manually
If you do not want to use automatic synchronization or only want to upload specific activities, you can upload activity files manually.

4. Health data
Many connected services also provide health and daily metrics, such as:
- Resting heart rate
- Heart rate variability (HRV)
- Sleep data

The exact data available depends on the connected provider.
